Enhancing the photocatalytic performance for contaminant degradation to accelerate large-scale application of photocatalysis still is an enduring challenge. Herein, ternary PDI/BiOCl-BiPO4 composited materials with different contents PDI were designed and constructed by multi-step compound method. The tetracycline hydrochloride rhodamine B chosen as targeted pollutants investigate materials. structure component BiOCl-BiPO4 samples detailedly characterized a sequence physical chemical characterizations. optimized sample, namely PDI(5%)/BiOCl-BiPO4, exhibited excellent activity degradation. major active species that holes (h+) superoxide radicals (•O2−) also can be determined in process trapping experiments. Furthermore, photoelectrochemical fluorescence measurements manifest crucial role material. It reduce recombination photo-excited charge carrier improve separation transfer photo-generated electron-hole pairs, which beneficial reaction process. anticipated our work would provide counterpart prepare high-efficiency material heterogeneous photocatalysis.
